This hobby came out of lockdown. A sense that the living were scary disease ridden zombies to be avoided at all costs. I always felt at peace in a graveyard. I loved walking through them reading all the headstones.

 (Therapy alert) I can trace it back to when i was a very young girl, maybe three or four. My dad every Sunday used to take me to his mother and fathers grave. (They died literally a few months before i was born. ) I had a lovely time there playing, There was a little hill beside their grave where i used to roll down whilst my dad mowed the lawn around their grave. I was never afraid to be in them. They remind me of summer and the scent of cut grass.  

My husband and i started to explore the ruined churches of Norfolk by accident. We were coming back from the seaside and we spotted a ruined church on the hillside. I mentioned how much i love walking round ruins and we stopped. I decided to film it and upload it onto You tube for memories and the You tube channel was born. 

My youngest son started to get involved and my husband became the "location manager" our projects got bigger and the destinations got further away. 

We do not earn very much money on you tube, in fact not enough for a monthly payment. We pay and fund our expeditions our self. Its not about the money, its about documenting our journeys, sharing what we find and trying to have fun along the way and sharing it with you guys.
